Steve was great during the whole process of construction. His experience and recommendations were all beneficial to making the right choices to the endless decisions you need to make during a construction project. Living in the construction zone is not recommended if you can avoid it. I had a 2-story addition added to a 90 year old brick tudor, with a new foyer. The quality of work made it look like the foyer was always there, and the new kitchen, laundry and master bedroom are a dream come true. The end result is that I love my house once again. A few months ago, we got the final inspection for our 1000 square foot addition for our aunt...Tata! To say we were excited is an understatement. It is absolutely beautiful...built above our garage (extended from two to three cars), the spacious living area boasts numerous windows and a screened in deck which afford a spectacular view. The area in front of the fireplace is perfect for playing cards or gathering for book club! Even though it is not really mine, the kitchen is my dream, with custom cherry cabinets, an 8 ft. island adjusted to meet my wishes, and beautiful granite counters. Even the color paint (which was suggested ) turns out to be the perfect compliment to all. There is a little laundry room off the bedroom and the bathroom, which can be accessed from both areas, is a work of art...shades of gray and white stone shaped tiles adorn the walls and floor. Steve did a great job - understanding our wish to bring more natural light into our family room and highlight the view of woods and a pond in the back of our property. He was able to work with us on ideas that became a reality with much more glass and unobstructed views to the outside. The set of four glass doors and windows were finished off with beautifully tasteful woodwork which really pops! New ceiling lighting adds a real nice contemporary touch while not detracting from our overall French country feel. We love the bathroom Steve designed and installed for us! The bathroom, which was original to our 26-year-old house, needed to be completely remodeled. Because its size could not be expanded, Steve maximized the space. The shower stall could be made only slightly larger, but the new all-glass enclosure feels spacious. Steve guided us through choices of tiles, cabinetry, appliances, and places for the best prices; however, we never felt pressured or limited to his choices. He stayed within his estimate and completed all work in a timely manner. His professional expertise made this project fun; he seems to enjoy his work and takes pride in his workmanship. I have used this company for a number of projects in my primary residence. They do an excellent job on developing written plans that matched what I wanted to have done on the house. We hired Steve Tatios/Tatcor to do upgrades to our kitchen and powder room in 2013. When it came time to do a replacement deck, we decided to give Steve a call again. Steve was prompt for appointments, timely in the work and did a great job. Our deck was started on Monday and finshed by Friday, right in time for the beginning of summer! As with the last project, we were very pleased with the work. Steve has a great creative eye--the deck came out better than expected.

Steve is a businessman and a gentleman. He combines the expertise of an engineer with the artful finesse of a designer. He gives ideas and he listens to ideas. This bathroom required maintaining the original nostalgic floor and wall tile while incorporating a corner custom glass shower enclosure, pedestal sink, and toilet. Changes/adaptations in plumbing were successfully implemented. Original moss tile 4x4 integrated with new 8x20 vertical faux white marble and decorative white marble 4x1 3/4 " for a fresh look. Lighting with shiny chrome accessories made the room to sing; the quality of craftsmanship crowning the whole."
